My brother works for Sara Lee as a salesman in their meat department. He dropped off a sample pack of Emeril's chicken and apple sausage. I grilled it up this weekend and they were great! Has anyone else tried these or any of the other types of Emeril's sausages?

Yes.

I have tried that brand and Bruce Aidell's.

Both tasted great. Bruce Aidell's was cheaper - less recognizable name I suppose.

Around my area, they have the Aidell's sausage for $9.00 for a pack of 8. Over a buck each? Crazy. I think Costco is cheaper though. They taste real good, I think.

You did good on the free samples. I never could get passed the price of these, just because Emeril`s name was on it (beef tenderloin is cheaper). I have tried others like Aidell's, and they were good, thought, still a bit pricey.

Sam's had a decent price on both Aidell's and Emeril's.
