Sounds good to me! I have yet to try the JD Honey. I am a JD fan. What is it like?

Just a hint of sweetness without being over sweet, enough to mellow out the harshness of the Bourbon without destroying the flavor

I've never had the honey before, but I know what I'm gonna get next time I'm at the state store. *sigh* I love me some bourbon manhattan straight up with 2 cherries, please! No? Never mind. Always carry a small jar of my own in my purse.

Nice!
I've tasted the honey recently...I like it for a dessert drink...1 or 2 glasses after dinner.
StuPh is too sweet for me to drink more than 2 small glasses.

agreed ... its not a bourbon you want to sit down to all evening. Thats the reason I used it as a pre meal appetizer, something to wake up the palate.

2 or 3 oz over ice

Looks like a match made in heaven. Sweet bourbon and nicely cook rib roast.
