Hello fellow brethren and sisters. Hope today was one filled with joyous occasions for each and every one of you. We celebrated with the nontraditional feast of pulled pork, kale, cranberry sauce, cole slaw, mashed sweet potato's and a n. carolina red sauce to enhance each and every bite. Started cooking at 7am and was done by 4:30pm after many a cold frosty ones. Hope you all had as much fun as I had today. Now for your viewing pleasure:

started at 7 am with the butt on the grill:

Had a light snack of some ABT's at noon. I know they look funky but by then things were a little fuzzy for me after a 6 pack.

Dinner was ready and of course Scooby couldn't wait any longer and grabbed MY seat: As you can tell from the following pics, everything seemed to be in focus camera wise, at least that's what my friends Bud, Wiser and their Old Granddad told me. I think they lied. :icon_blush: sorry for the out of focus pics to follow

the overall spread:

and the pig up close and personal:

Now if you'll excuse me I need to let the 20 pound I just put on get some rest. Happy Thanksgiving folks...:thumb:

Ahhhhh........Thank God my girlfriend stayed sober to take pics. Here's a better shot of the pulled pork:

and after dinner we were disturbed by endless sirens only to find them on the next block. Not sure what happened, I could see and smell smoke but by the time we got there they were done: Kudos to AFD they ROCK!!!

Nice pics of some great-looking Thanksgiving grub! Was there a fried turkey disaster down the street?

Not sure. It was def. outside because it had that leaf burning smell. I know a LOT of folks in our 'hood' have grills, smokers and/or fryers. At least whatever it was the boys got it out in no time flat and no one was hurt. Last thing you want to see is someone hurt or homeless over a fire.
