Well I did it! I've looked and looked and listened and decided to go with a Party (great name)!

I went to goldmedalbbq and met with Jim the owner, what a card! I won't have to shop any further than him as he has quite a bit! Backwoods, Cookshack FEC's The Good One. He even cut the shipping wrap off a FEC-120 so I could get a real good look at it, I'll have to save a little more:becky: but what a place! Be prepared to spent some time as BBQ is just one of his hobbies, the cars!

Here's a pic of the my new smoker and here's what it's replacing or should I keep both? Let me know, thankgiving is going to taste a lot better this year for sure! :thumb:

The collection starts with the first one.

To borrow a phrase.... "You cannot just stop with one".

What do you mean followed you? You must have said something to lead it on, or something.

Congrats you got yourself a great smoker. I'd keep both smokers as you can never have too many...it's nice to be able to bounce back and forth between different styles of smokers.

Congrats! I just got my new fatboy yesterday. Looks like it's gonna be a backwoods weekend!

Keep both. With the right mods that brinkman can make great chicken. Besides, ya can't have a party with just one cooker. ;)

YES you two Pat,

He's really a great guy and talk about toys, it's not likely your going to run in, buy something and run back out cuz you left your motor running:becky:! I'm into cars also and the next time I go back it will be in a Winnebago, I'll need a bed, for the time spent with Jim and a place to live when I come home with???????????

I'm cooking on it right now, in the pharkin rain. It hasn't rained here for, I can't remember but sure just when I want to season up the new cooker you'd thought I wash the car this morning. Oh well I put on one rack of ribs and 10lbs of chicken hind quarters dusted with Plowboys yardbird rub, can't wait. If it quits raining I'll take prons, good day! :thumb:

You have a stove in your garage?

Well, maybe. Did you see one? OK yes I do, I've always wanted one and just stumbled on this. It came out of a small hospital in there kitchen for the help so it wasn't used a lot and the hospital rules are 10 years good or bad it goes so for $300.00 I drove down, picked it up, changed it over to LP, put on some wheels and so the story goes. If a crowd shows up for grub I can handle it. :thumb:
