I've seen some really fun pits on here, but this one really made me step back and just say "WOW."

What are some of the other fun pits you've come across lately?

:clap2: Love that.

Here's a unique rig (Fat Maxine's) that was next to us at Smoketoberfest a few weeks ago:

I'm just hoping they filled the tires before towing...

When Orange County Choppers were commissioned to make that bike...
They asked for Dave Klose to design the sidecar smoker.

[Look in the online catalog (2009)... about halfway down... also shows other Klose custom smokers...]

My personal fav: the scaled model of a Continental 777 jet... by Dave Klose.

Amazingly cool rig -- BUT, is it my imagination, or does it seem like it would be pretty "unwieldy" to have to lean over to access both pit doors? Seems like the back right wheel structure would be in your way.

Seems more "form" than function.

That is a show piece, not really a driver or a cooker, c'mon, enjoy it for the art it is. Ever ride a raked out bike like that with that large a front wheel? It it totally inpracitical, still a beauty.

Right on. You make an excellent point. And that thing IS sheer art.
