Sadly, on the Canadian History Channel that i get, they will likely be airing a "History of Maple Syrup" or "Epic Canoe Battles".

Kidding.....don't go off on me.

It's all a lie bro.

My descendant, OGG Wilson developed the first kettle drum during the neolithic period.

I thought I related this old family story:

OGG was pounding out what would become the worlds first kettle cooker, and being watched closely by his tribe.

One of them hollered:

"LOOK... OGG INVENT WHEEL"

and that brought moderate appalause.

But another who was watching even closer proclaimed:

"OGG not invent wheel...OGG INVENT KETTLE DRUM!"

And the tribe went wild.

BBQ has been big with people ever since, and all because of a Wilson!

I have a picture (also the first) of the event, but it's very low resolution, as it was carved into a rock.

Sadly, OGG's life was cut short: he died a horrible death acquiring the world's first butt to smoke.

You see, back in those days, they still had not determined that the "butt" was actually the shoulder.
