My name is Jody, and I live just north of Austin, TX in the beautiful hill country. I have been cooking for about 2 years on a pit, but have enjoyed cooking my entire life. I currently own a lonestargrillz.com smoker. It has a 24x48 cook chamber, dutch oven table, high pressure burner, and I will be taking it back to Chris and the guys soon so he can add a gas grill over 1/2 of the wood rack. I have only ever cooked in one competition where I placed 1st in pork butt (my fav to cook and eat), 4th other meats (sausage), and 7th in ribs out of 15 teams.
