After being a member of the brethren for a little while, I think I have come down with something. I have been told that I now have Barbecue Acquisition Disorder, otherwise known as B.A.D. Symptoms of this disorder include constantly searching Craigslist and local newspaper classified ads for smokers, grills, 55 gallon drums and anything else that can be used to make a cooker. More advanced symptoms include waking up at 4am on weekend days to start a smoke and riding through neighborhoods on trash day looking for discarded grills. Since I am a Pharmacist, I am diligently researching curative medications, but have been unsuccessful at this point. I will continue my research and report any positive findings.

I hear our Outlaw BBQ Sauce helps with the symptoms.

Take 1 TSP at bedtime.

Sing with me, Brother...

"Ah, if there's a cure for this
I don't want it
Don't want it
If there's a remedy
I'll run from it, from it"

You've heard the phrase "preaching to the choir"?
They tried to make me go to rehab, I said, "No, no, no"

There is a 12-step program I enrolled in about 40 years ago to cure this malady. So far, not much success... For me or the others. We get together once a week, usually late Friday afternoons and some SOB invariably brings BBQ... Gawd, I hate those meetings!

Is one of the symptoms buying Webers that you really don't need , but want? For instance let's just say buying a second Weber Ranch?

Wait till you get caught doing the BBQ STARE! It's when someone catches you sitting in a chair possibly a cigar or beer in hand just staring at the thin blue smoke. And they ask you what your doing and you reply just cooking. But in reality your a million miles away in bbq heaven.

On Sale Buying Disorder!!!!!!!!!

And all the above!!!!

Went to the store one day, better half says " Let me guess, they were on sale."

All Beef Hot Dogs, .69 cents a pound. They only had 70 packages.

Whole Chickens .69 cents a pound. They only had 12.

Better Half knows there is no cure. Freezers are always full. She only says
" Where you going to put them".
