I had some birthday money and decided to take the plunge on one of those new cast iron STOK grates at home depot. I took pictures of the inaugural run. Since I couldn't find a ton of information about it on the internet, I decided to post some here. Enjoy.

My first impressions? I really like it. Well worth the $39.95 bucks I spent on it. ($50 with the handle). If it holds up over time (and I've got no reason to think it won't), I think this is a bargain.

Nice sear marks. I also like the price. I have been looking at Cast Iron Grates and the Weber Kettle Gourmet system. I wonder if the different Weber inserts will fit inside the ring on these grates. Need some dimensions and more info before I decide what to buy. Thanks for the post and pron. Tasty looking steak definitely got my mouth watering already and I just finished breakfast. Wow steak and eggs would have been killer. :becky:

I have the Weber system so I went and checked. The weber inserts are slightly bigger than the STOK but it's VERY close. The Weber griddle and wok fit because the bottom is tapered, but the Weber cast iron sear grate just sits on top.
