I saw this online and searched here for post about it and it was posted back in April with no response. It looks just like Thermopen and has good reviews with one person doing side by side comparison on time to give reading being 4 sec instead of 1 sec for Thermopen. But it's 20+ bucks. Anyone have one?

I have one of those that I use in my homebrewing and it's rather slow. I have never been able to get 4 second readings out of it. It may be slower at higher temps. I use it to check temps in my brew kettle as the temperature approaches boiling and to check the temperatures in my mash, which are between 148 and 158.
