Brined for 24 hrs. rubbed with a compound butter and trussed. In the UDS at 300 for about 4 hours till breast was 165 and thigh was 185.

looks good to me. though i woulda pulled it about 10 deg earlier. doesn't matter though as long as its good.

The flavor is amazing. I cooked it for a family event we are having today. I just took a little off to taste it but my wife is actually going to carve it today for sandwiches. I'll try to get a pic of it after it is cut up.

I am a new member who is planning to smoke first turkey as soon as the hurricane passes my NJ home. Any suggestions on technique and rub recipes would be most helpful.

I would have cooked it a little slower, but it looks nice.

That does look like an awesome bird... nice work! I might get around to doing a big bird like that for Thanksgiving :)
