Interesting idea. How is the draw?

Looks pretty slick. My concerns would be that you lose all of your heat when you open that lid. And, do you have to hold the lid up? It looks like it would want to go all the way over if you open it too far. Really cool though :thumb: Any inside photos? How many cooking levels do you have and how do you access them?

I thought to use the strong arms on either side so all you have to do is lift it alittle and it will automatically lift it self the rest of the way. Same idea as a trunk of a car. I decided on adjustable elbows inside the tank to even temp flow through out. When openin lid it doesnt lose that much heat. I smoke with Cherry & Apple wood so it gets back to temp pretty quick.

Just did a hurricane BBQ all day. Just finished at 1am. We did spare ribs..baby backs..and venison loins..came out very good..Ribs were 2-1-1 ratio...Good time..Good Food...Had a Ball....

Looks great. I think the stove plate is a really good idea.

Looks like there's a fair amount of extra space below the grate - I'm wondering if there's a way to put that to use somehow - maybe put in a little warmer box or something?
