Tomorrow I'm going to my South African friend.
It's her Hubby's birthday and she wanted me to make some snacks.
Probably I'm gonna make some wings and little meatballs...maybe I'll MOINK the balls.

Smoked beef chili. Using a chuck for the meat and then Mexene chili for the flavor.

I am excited. Man I look so forward to the weekend!

Slab of SL Ribs plus the remainder, 1/2 butt, 2 chickens, maybe a fatty...or not. That should hold me for a week.....

It depends. If we loose power with hurricane, I may have to cook everything on the grill, and we don't have charcoal so I'm drying logs out. If we don't loose power and it just rains, nothing, since my grill area is going to flood.

I'm smoking two butts tomorrow. One will be traditional for pulled pork sandwiches.

I'm gonna try something new with the other one... I'm gonna cover it with minced garlic and dust it with Adobo. After it's pulled, we are gonna use it to make Cuban sandwiches.

Considering starting a pork loin tomorrow morning for lunch, need a good solid food base before the days activities. Starting with the River City Roots Fest (http://www.rivercityrootsfestival.com/) and followed up by my first time as the Head Referee for a Hellgate Rollergirls (http://hellgaterollergirls.com/) bout.

Saturday,

We are having 30+ family and friends over for birthdays so I've got a brisket in the fridge gettin happy with a load of Butchers in it. I've got two pork butts injected with apple juice, brown sugar and Sweet baby rays next to the brisket. I took a big hunk of brisket out of the freezer that I cooked previously and will cube that and wrap it with apple bacon for Moinks and took out two tubes of Jimmy Dean original sausage to make fatties out of. Everything is pretty well set except for what to stuff the fatties with? Any help greatly appreciated and all you Breathern on the east coast be safe this weekend and our prayers go out your way!:thumb:

90 lbs of pork butt for the United Stated Watermelon Speed Eating and Seed Spitting Championships. I'll be cooking Friday night (after the HS football game) into Saturday.

rodeo in town this weekend!!! cooking 400 burgers fri nite and another 400 sat nite, but while that is happening I am gonna sneak a tri tip on the cooker for me and my fellow volunteers:thumb:

30 drumsticks (Sweet Seduction) for my young 'un's karate class beach party tomorrow, plus a batch of kielbasa, a batch of spicy Polish sausage and smoking some maple bacon I have curing. Have a great weekend y'all and you East Coasters stay safe!

Well, I had two packages of wings I wanted to cook today. My wife said, "Uh, you know we bought those Sunday, and they're still in the fridge?" "Yeah. They'll be OK." There were fine. Until right up to the time I busted open the plastic. WHEW!! So I'm doing beef ribs tomorrow... :oops:

Marinating a couple of skirt steaks for lunch tomorrow. I'll also be smoking two pork butts and two chuck roasts to pull. My son is heading back to college next week and I'll be vacuum packing and freezing meal sized packages for him to bring back with him.
