Here are a few pics with my new Nikon D7000 of some brisket. ribs, chicken and sausage from my last big cook of the season, since school started this week. We spent week before last in the Mountains up in Colorado. I hauled my trailer up the Mountain and used it and my FIL's BGE.
Photo of all the folks I cooked for. Fun bunch of people!!

ZOMG, where do you get full racks of even spare ribs? Here our pork spare ribs come in half packages with tons of fat and thick bones, with a bit of meat, but they look ugly.

Looks like some good times, great food, and congrats on the new camera rig :) I'm a photographer also but I have Canon gear. When I switched to digital, Nikon didn't have any great gear, but now their stuff is definitely top of the line :)

Photobucket has been acting up. Been tryin to get all my vacation pictures uploaded and it would just pick and choose which it wanted to load. So I have the rest uploading. I'll add the chicken after I get up this afternoon.

Here are the pics of the chicken. Not the best pics, but damn tasty, done up with Simply Marvelous Pecan on half and Simply Marvelous Sweet Seduction on the other. Man they were good chef snacks.

I have a question about your black rubber gloves. I see you are cutting the meat while hot with those gloves. Are they insulated? It is so hard (or hot) to use my hands to cut brisket and other meats when it's hot.

Also, nice spread, and your FIL's too.

Can you PLEASE tell me where you found those perfect racks you call spares? They look like the BBs around here.

Here's what the spares look like in the super markets in NJ.

Yea they are insulated BBQ gloves. I use em all the time to move meat around in the cookers And pull and slice meat. I get from www.Texasbbqrub.com like 11$ a pair. They work great. Also use their old #2 rub on my briskets. Good stuff.

I get my spares from SAMs. Then trim em down to st louis style. I have gotten some like the ones u posted in the past. I try to find the three packs that have a decent rack front and back and hope they aren't hiding crap in the middle.

If you wouldn't mind helpin' me out, which of http://www.samsclub.com/sams/shop/category.jsp?categoryId=1550&altQuery=&rootDimension=1001550&navAction=push these are the ribs? I think our membership is defunct and I'd need to make sure they have him here in NJ before I go off getting a membership.

EDIT: Are these them?

Twinsfan. The ones I get are packaged by swift. They come three racks to a cryovac package. The only pics I could get to come up from your link was a bunch of precooked BBQ stuff. You should be able to get a one day guest pass to SAMs. Just to check it out Nd see if the got what you are looking for.
