Taking WSM camping

Does anyone have any tricks for keeping dirt and dust out of a WSM when camping? I was thinking of just putting it on a tarp. Any one have any better tricks?

I would not use a tarp though. I never have a problem with dirt (noticable) getting into the WSM.

a piece of plywood might give the legs more stability.
