This worked really good. I had an extra lid so this was my attempt at making my kettle into a pizza oven. Pizza took 3 minutes to cook. The only problem I had was trying to spin my rectangular cast iron pan. I need to get a round one. I used half my fire ring from my grill done to bank coals in a half circle.

If you can do it in 3 mins and get cheese like that, don't change a thing!! Looks great.

Only 3 minutes. The grill was pretty hot. I was in a pinch and used jiffy dough mix. The dough didn't have the crispyness I like not sure if it was the time or the dough mix. I used jiffy yesterday and it didn't crisp either. I will try regular this week.
Thanks for looking.

I wish I took a pic of the flame rolling over top of the pizza. It was neat looking in and seeing the cheese n dough bubbling.
Looks like a winner! Congrats.

Looks good :thumb: In mine, I actually cut a piece of steel and mounted it just above the opening to help draft the heat over the pizza. Looks like you are fine with your setup though.

Sorry not sure of the temp. I didn't grab my oven thermo. I was getting false readings from the top vent because the flame. It buried my 750 thermo. After I was done cooking I put my regular lid on and shut vents then I put a thermo in that lid after it was shut down a bit and it was reading 600 from the fron't where I had no coals.
It may have been 4 minutes. I was thinking about my the time and now im not sure if I was a minute off. I guess I have to make another to find out:-D
Thanks everyone for looking.
