Just wanted to say how impressed I was with shipping times (to Canada) from Fred's Music and BBQ as well as the way the stuff was packed - made it all in one piece. Also grateful for the two sample packs - takes a sting out of the $50 for shipping... :-D

Will try BH original by itself first and then Tennessee Red and then mix the two as so many have suggested here..... Going to be an exciting weekend - heading off now to get some ribs at the butcher, more lump and maybe some chicken for tonight :thumb:

Wow - there's a dollar store called Fred's down south? Our dollar stores here are called Dollar Store and Buck or Two and that's it...lol

lol Buck or two years ago was a steak house in STL! You will like what you got... Try mixixin 50/50 with Tenn red and regular....

No problem - I have gotten so sick of reading how awesome plowboys rubs are that I just had to give in and get some. Was looking for a website easy to use that also sold blues hog as that's the sauce I always see around here too. Just so happens I read about Fred's free sample offer, liked his site, and he sold everything I wanted. Great service and packaging - will definitely order again.

Tried a tastylicks sample rub and sauce tonight - were actually very good as well : )

haven't tried the sample rubs yet, but that secret sauce was hella good.
