We had our 4th party a day early this year.

Did some Corn on the Cob Sunday. 16 ear's fit in there just nicely. Set on low and turned a few times for about 40 minutes. Good stuff!

Also cooked up 16 boneless Rib Eye's on the CharGriller. Baked potatoes and BBQ beans for sides. It was a great meal all together.

The Gasser will have it's place the more I learn to use it. It sure took a load off the cook, quick and easy.

I also love my Genesis. Sure, it isn't the same as cooking over coals, but when you want a quick meal and no muss and no fuss, it's hard to beat.

Very nice restoration! That thing looks better than my "newer" genesis. I did some sweet twice baked potatoes this weekend but I can't find my pron on that right now. Maybe tomorrow.

How 'bout a rotisserie for that thing. I did this a couple weeks ago and it came out great.

BTW thanks for you input on my BGE purchase. I got the XL. Unfortunately it's still in the box. It's killing me but I don't even want to move it till I get my table built. Hopefully this weekend!

I've got a Genesis Silver that looks just about like that. I've had it for 6 years or so and it is rock solid. You are gonna love it.

i love my Egg and WSM, but sometimes a gasser is just what you need when you are in a hurry or you are doing big cooks with multiple items.

Thanks! I got the rotisserie for mine 2 weeks ago and have only cooked 1 Chicken so far. It worked great!

Congrats on the XL Egg, I think you will love it once you get to know it. Any questions, just ask. I will be happy to try and help. 1st couple tips, do not do high heat cooks until you have done several low temp ones. You will fry the gasket if is not set first. Do a $ bill test to check for any gaps in the Gaskets between the Dome and Chamber.

Also be careful when tightening the small bolts on the rings, they are made of soft metal and will snap. Don't ask how I know this.

Well done with the rotisserie quickness! Thanks for pre-answering my BGE questions. I'm sure there will be plenty more till I get the thing figured out. I appreciate you taking the time and I'll be sure not to ask about the small bolts. LOL

My gasser isn't all that great of one and is the main reason it serves as storage or a way to clean grates. If I had a better one, it would likely get used as a replacement for my microwave.
