View Full Version : Yet Even More Human Experimentation with Carolina Magic!

As some of you may recall, I recently renewed my stash of Big Butz BBQ Sauce. Inside the shipment were some special gifts!

I made the Carolina Magic sauce as detailed in this thread...

Today I wanted to see how this vinegar based sauce would work in making slaw!:hungry:

Here are the necessary ingredients. I chose to use a pre-packaged Coleslaw mix because I'm a lazy bastige. The other 2 ingredients are the Carolina Magic and some Sugar.

I mixed a cup of the sauce and a cup of sugar into a bag like so...

...and set it in the fridge to get to know each other real good like.

For dinner tonight, I served the slaw alongside a Beer Brat, some of my own BBQ Beans, and a store bought potato salad someone brought along.

My verdict on using it for slaw? OH HELL YEAH!!!:clap2::clap2::clap2: Put this on some slaw, and then put it on your pulled pork and enjoy the good life.

This concluded the Human Experiments with Carolina Magic at the Baker Research Facility. At least for now anyway.

I think I'd be quadrupling up on the sugar myself, ... and the pineapple. :icon_blush:

I do love slaw.

Wow! I may have to give that a try sometimes. Sounds real sweet, but sweet is always good!:becky:
