Funny you mention this, I picked up a 1000 for free on craigslist today. It is filthy, but hopefully the rain will clean it up a little. I can't say how it works, but in my searches people seem to like them a lot on other boards. I think Moose on here uses one and likes it, even uses the sliding ash catcher to smoke with it. They sold them for a short time as Kingsford grills.

I did a search, and it looks like a discontinued product... perhaps even the brand. If so, for 20 bucks you are buying a "use it till it breaks and toss it in the trash" grill.

I have the earlier version of this grill with the Kingsford logo on it. I picked it up new in the box for $40 back in 2003 at a yard sale. I like it much better than the Weber 22 inch because it has more room and heat circulates more efficiently.

Because it's no longer made, I would not sell mine even if someone offered me $5000 for it, and I'm not kidding...

I had older one that was passed on to me from my brother-in-law (same one as pictured above, minus the kingsford logo). I definitely recommend it, especially for that price. Would still have it today, but a tree fell on it in a storm a few years back. Was a great grill.
