Just wondering what I can expect for battery life for the Maverick ET-732 thermometer.

I have run the cheap battery's that come with it for 20 hrs so far problem free. And that's through a brick wall. Not sure if that helps much but thats all the experience I have with it so far.

same here, I am on the original batteries and know I've had them on well over 24 hrs of cooking. much better than the old one.

As long as it takes for you to go to sleep and your cooker to go haywire.:heh:

Sorry, couldn't resist. Murphy's Law you know.

Dont let the batteries get to old. The signal will weaken and the display will dim. I had a customer return me a ET-732 a few weeks ago. He said the transmitter was broken. The entire time the unit had dead batteries.
