If you guys had a choice of one of two identical smokers, both say Lang quality and one was a reverse flow and one a standard, which would you choose and why?

Just an opinion... reverse flow.

(And no... its not a dumb question!)

Its the only type of offset smoker that:
1) eliminates hot/cold spots by heating the plate under the meat
2) More steel = greater heated steel mass (easier temp recovery)
3) Lang has a built-in grease drain
4) Will be added to your will... an instant family heirloom.


[unless someone like myself... who would be buried in a Lang 84... with the stack exposed].
