Had nothing better to do today so I decided to cook some Q. I made a modified version of Chris Lilly's dime an hour spare ribs. The only modification I made is he uses Worcestershire sauce and I kicked it up a notch using Allegro Hickory marinade. But if you decide to go this route take all the salt out of your rub. Allegro has enough salt in it. Paired it with some mac and cheese and a homemade carolina slaw

Also tried Chris Lilly's BBQ chicken with soy-lemon marinade it came out alright the soy was a bit salty for my taste.

Also tried some Pig candy for the first time and it is great.

A few hickory beginning then added another chunk the last hour after i put the 1st coat of sauce on to get some smoke in the sauce.

I have a serious problem with cookers. I was in Costco this morning and Treager was there showing off their smokers. They had a show special which was a Traeger Jr. (I think) for $299.00. It was big enough for four chickens or three butts or two 12 pound turkeys. I was so tempted to buy the thing. My wife saw me looking and jumped in and said "I know what you thinking and the answer is no way!" But, they will be there tomorrow too so, we'll see. :heh:

That is some nice grub on that plate. What is a cooker problem? An inability to cook?

My mouth waters everyday while I look at the good Q people on here are cooking up...I cook Q more often than i used to now just for the fact that everytime I see something good that someone else cooked it makes me crave Q..So what better to do to take care of that craving is fire up the cooker.
