Whats the time for smoking a whole chicken with a beer can and off a beer can? Internal temps still apply? What about grill temps?

How long on smoked chicken wings?

Yes, internal meat temp still applies. Depending on temp, 3-4 hours, should put you in the ballpark.

What BIGBrandon said on the wings is about right. A lot of this depends on what temp you are cooking at.

It all depends on the pit temp and size of the chicken. I usually cook chicken at 325 and for a 3-4 lb bird that takes about 1 1/2 - 2 hours.

I'm with Ron. Depends on cooking temp and meat mass.
I, too, do my poultry at 325-350 and it usually takes me (I do at least 2 birds at a time....each about 5 lb) from 1.5-2 hours. If I spatchcock, I'll get them done a little quicker (decrease mass of meat).

For whole beercan chickens.....cook until breast temp is 160-165 and thigh temp is 170-175. I think higher temps make for a little crispier skin. Poultry doesn't need low'n'slow, IMHO.

I do mine in the 325-350 range. I've done a single bird, and two birds, and it was the same cook time. About 2 hours

hey guys,
On the chicken... I did a thigh temp to around 180 and breast at 165. Question is, around the leg and wing it looked bloody. Well not bloody, but it was red... Is this normal with the smoked chicken? All of the other meat was white and good to go.
