Ive been working on this UDS project for a while and just finished yesterday. I plan on making a few more, but wanted to make one based on the generally accepted principles of the UDS thread.

I've already got some mods in mind, but here it is:

Simple & effective

I'll make a few mods before Saturday. I've got to make it have a usable temp range of 225 - 325 for most needs. Right now it doesn't get enough air...

I am sure you will have it dialed in nicely.

Nice job. I'm no expert, but if you are having problems your intake might be too tall. Sure an expert will let ya know.

Looks good. As a BGE dealer you coulda thrown a BGE vent on it for cost. That's what I did, gets plenty of air.

I have to agree. If your intake is above your exhaust, you'll have a real hard time getting good flow. Other than that, looks like a winner.

Ahh...ok. Got it. I'll be shortening it tonight. Thanks!

It looks good except for the already mentioned intake level. It'll serve you well!

That looks like exactly what I was planning on doing. Is that the Rustoleum High Heat Copper paint?

Thanks for the advice on lowering the intake to achieve better draft. It worked like a charm.

Yeah - it takes at least 2 cans to get good coverage. Best of luck, I'm new to the UDS, but it sure seems to work as advertised.
