Last night I tried a couple of new items, Miner's Mix Salmon Marinade and Grill Grates.
My friend and fellow Brethren, SMITTYtheSMOKER gave me the pack of Salmon Marinade to try out so I asked my wife to pick up some salmon for herself (I'm allergic to salt water seafood - I can eat it but don't care for the rash that comes with it ).
A sockeye salmon filet:

The Mrs prepared the Miner's Mix marinade:

While I fired up a chimney of Stubbs on the side burner:

I cut the filet into two and put them into a gallon bag with the marinade:

Put some Grill Grates that my brother-in-law gave to me onto the OTP kettle and got the grill temp up to around 350-375:

And put the salmon on:

Now I don't grill fish very often and when I have it usually involves foil, a basket, and/or a mess with fish sticking to something so it was nice to present my wife with these:

Overall, I was happy with how the Grill Grates worked and the one bite of the salmon that I had tasted good.
