there was a 3 day interruption due to the new baby boy that arrived monday(thread in cattle call) but....

none of that store bought crap. these were straight off a friend's boat the morning my mom left the coast to come visit. 10-15 count texas white shrimp w/ my Grammy's pink dipping sauce(recipe below),bacon/cheddar/jalapeno grit's, & garden salad, washed down w/ ice cold Bud light lime. cervesa.

the family feast week continues tonight w/ homegrown 5 layer lasagna & tomorrow is smoked bone-in prime ribeye w/ smoked scalloped taters & my deep fried green beans.

Mom got pics of me teaching Aimee how to head shrimp so i'll get those pics uploaded this morning.

pink sauce recipe-
chili or cocktail sauce(ketchup will work)
mayo
horseraddish
lemon juice

mix equal parts may & cocktail sauce- add the rest to personal taste.

the shrimp breading-

1/2 corn flour
1/2 golden dipt brand cajun fish fry mix
garlic pwdr.

wash in milk & egg then dredge in the breading mix.

yes. cheddar,bacon,jalapeno cheese grits to be exact.
