Working on those Night Moves

Sorry Adams! I think that’s why I don’t do overnight cooks, it would happen every time for me

Sorry to hear about the late night meat loss, Adams, but it appears you are on your way to redemption. Keep the faith, and keep us posted!

As for the briquettes. Where a lot of coals like B&B, Weber and others seem to go 10+ hours on a level basket in The Bronco these spiced seem to start decreasing temps at 6-8 hours. Not an issue if you know it, and of course the decrease is gradual, not a rapid deceleration. I'm running stack wide open and intake on 2. May be my settings but that's what I always attempt to set. 100% worth what little I paid at Home Depot closeout. Wife going to lunch with a friend, I may go coal shopping.

Endeavor to persevere.
Not gonna criticize your decision to toss the meat A16. Your tent, your rules.
But I would have finished cooking it and ate it. Because I'm a rebel.
Of course, I wouldn't have let anyone else eat.
The backups look pretty dang good!

That's an expensive failure. You could have bought a wifi temp monitor like BBQ Guru or Fireboard that sets alarms if temps go too high, or too low.
