Weber Kettle Lid Hinge/Support & Other Mods?

Hey all. I'm getting a new 22" Weber Kettle to replace an old Stok kettle and was looking at ways to handle the lid of the new Weber. I've seen the hinge for it and also the lid support bracket. Which one is more conducive to actual use? Also, what other mods are handy?

I added felt gaskets to better seal the lid and access door - smoke now only escapes via the vents :grin:.
