Smoked Lamb Shoulder

Smoked a lamb shoulder last night - then let it rest in my warmer overnight





Plated it up with scalloped carrots and Greek lemon potatoes

After your post mentioned 'overnight rest', I thought it was going to be an Easter gong kind of thing. But that looks fantastic. I live in sheep country and smoked or grilled lamb is way more popular than baked or used in a stew.

Would like to try this but I haven't seen this cut in any of the markets by me. Maybe a special order at a good butcher.

That all looks great! I've never tried pulled lamb - will have to rectify that.

Actually enjoy much more than pulled pork - a few places in Dallas I know of to get - American Butcher (at Dallas Farmers Market), Deep Cuts (Richardson) and Sara’s Market and bakery (Richardson)
