Royal Oak Super Size Briquetes

Any one used these? Was at Lowes for misc stuff, saw this and picked up a bag for $7 something.

than they used to be?

Hmm. Could be!

As for the RO, I tried them last year, or the year before.
Absolutely hated it.
Burns way faster, produced much more ash.

I'm sticking with Kingsford.

RO briqs quality has gone into the dumpster.
I haven't seen the XL but might have to try it once. Maybe not...

I hadn't heard that, but it's possible.
I do know that the Weber briquettes were larger than the KBB, but from my experience, we're nothing like the RO briquettes that I used.
They performed just like KBB, IMO.
