Seasoned a ribeye and tri tip with some Q-Salt and got them onto the Large BGE indirect:

Pulled them off when their IT hit 118:

Pulled out the plate setter, cooking grid, and opened up the vents wide open to get a bed of scorching hot lump:

Threw the ribeye directly onto the lump and took only one pic and it was a blurry one :doh:

Seared the steak for about 45 seconds per side and pulled it off aiming for 128-130:

Seared the tri tip as well with the same target temp:

Enjoyed the steak with Mrs R2:

Had no room or time for the tri tip as we had to run off to her mother's place to cook a Mother's Day dinner (chicken and another tri tip) there.

Overall it was a pretty fun day cooking.
