First use of this rib-o-lator. Getting it centered was a PITA, and it does not like anything hanging out of the tray.

With that said, the ribs were pretty darn good!

Anything cooked in the ROL must fit inside the trays or they will become unbalanced. So if your ribs are too long or too wide they must be trimmed to fit the tray.
 
I remove the allen head screws and replace them with thumbscrews.

Find the sweet spot and make marks on the spit rod for the crossXmembers and setup is a breeze every time. Set it up on a flat surface, tighten one side down and apply the bottom trays then slide on the other crossmember and secure the bottom trays making sure you have freeplay, make a mark on the rod and secure the top trays and tighten. Roll the ROL through your hands to make sure the trays spin freely then start spinnin' meat!
