Rack of lamb is one of my favorites. Decided to grill one up on my 18" Santa Maria Weber. Turned out excellent!

Got the frozen Frenched rack from Costco. Thawed it out, marinated 6 hours in oil, dijon mustard, garlic, salt pepper. Rosemary is an option.

Trimmed off the fat and silver skin from meat and bones. Grilled on high heat 5 minutes each side. Cranked the SM up and cooked another 5 minutes on each side on medium, rotated twice. Rest 15 minutes, done!

I've done 4-5 times, always from Costco, never disappointed.

I notice your avatar, did Kingsford or anyone actually make those shorts? I need a pair!

I use to coach lacrosse in my youth - and one of the outfits we ordered custom uniforms from had designed this for an adult level team - but can’t recall which designer it was

When I saw it - being that I love both bbq and lacrosse - figured a perfect avatar for me

Looks good.
Does anyone know what the cut of meat is on the rack of lamb that would be missing if you just had ribs? Is it the tenderloin or backstrap or something else?

I love the racks from Costco .
I generally cut them into double chops and grill on Weber.
Next rack I'll do it as a full rack.
Nice job.
