Quick Flat Iron Steak

Way too hot here to sit outside for long. A quick cook was in order.

Flat iron steak rubbed with SuckleBusters Campfire and cooked hot and fast on the BGE with some pecan chips for smoke:

It did not break 100 today in DFW- but 99 was close enuff for me to blow off an outdoor cook as just too hot.

Your steak looks great! Maybe I will brave the heat tomorrow.
