Picked up a pork tri-tip not sure exactly where it's cut from but somewhere from the loin I would imagine

Regardless I smoked an ultra low and slow at 205° with perfect mix pellets from cooking pellets sprayed with cranberry pineapple juice until internal temperature of 140

Turned out absolutely phenomenal made them into some sandwiches with a Chipotle aioli and Dutch crunch bread

I will definitely be doing this again The ultra low and slow made the most juicy tender flavorful pork I've had in a long time

That looks very tasty, never heard of a pork Tri Tip. learn something every day

Pork Tri Tip
The pork tri-trip is the end part of the sirloin, triangular in shape. You need to watch it carefully while cooking, as it becomes tough when cooked beyond medium rare. Cook an untrimmed one with a layer of fat on one side of it. You can grill it or use a conventional oven for cooking it.
