Pellet Grill

In response to my last post and to be fair to the OP, I did a little research and found that Recteq recommends cleaning the fire pot every 4-5 cooks. They claim it helps prevent clogging of the holes where the fan blows air into the pot. Again, I’ve only cleaned mine twice in about 9 months of owning and I cook on it at least once a week and haven’t seen any issues. But, if you prefer to clean it as often as recommended, I’d just do it when you change the foil on the heat deflector as you’ll probably be doing that every 4-5 cooks anyway. It’s pretty easy to use a shop vac and clean the chamber and fire pot.
