Old Country Brazos modified

That stack outta pull a lot of air flow. Nice work.

I'm guessing you cut the baffle out also ?

I owned a Brazos and my thinking was, if I cut the baffle out I would also need to open up the stack end.

Counter weight on the cook chamber door is helpful on that smoker. Its a heavy door.

Looks like a new smoker, I bet it will cook like one too. Interested to see how it goes for you

Exhaust looks good - I'd cut baffle out and put in a vertical baffle 2-3" off the hole leaving 2-3" at top and bottom Open (like a false wall)

Looks good, but what exactly did you do to the smoker so we understand the difference between how it came out of the factory vs what you did?

he added an exhaust collector box that will draw across the grate (instead of just a round hole and elbow) and taller stack.
