It’s time to roll out the smokers and grills in preparation for the 2016 Backyard BBQ Competition.
This year’s event will be more competitive than ever so bring your “A game” along with the rack of ribs of your choice and be ready to throw down in downtown!
Bragging rights and BIG – BIG ASS trophies are up for grabs to the winners!
We’re bringing back the One Bite Competition and adding a Steak Competition.
Last year’s One Bite Competition was a competition to remember – especially with all the ABT’s that got turned in. Bring your best, as the competition gets better every year.
The One Bite Competition – Back again for a third year, the goal of this contest is to take a recipe or dish you are known for or enjoy and scale it to eight (8) one bite servings. Creativity, taste and presentation are all up to you.
The Great Steak Competition – If you can grill the best steak in the Bluegrass here’s your chance to prove it. Grill the steak of your choice (Filet, New York Strip, T-Bone, Porterhouse, Sirloin, etc.) to perfection and enter for a chance to earn the title of Great Steak Competition Champion!
There is an additional entry fee for both of these contests and prize money to the winner of each. (See rules and regulations for the details). You must be a registered participant in the Backyard BBQ Rib Competition in order to compete in the One Bite Competition and the Steak Competition.
Have you got what it takes to be the 2016 Backyard BBQ Competition champion?
Three chances to win!
The Backyard BBQ Competitions (Ribs)
The One Bite Competition (Anything you like)
The Steak Competition (Any type of steak)
Space is limited so enter early to secure your spot in the lot!
