I wanted to replace my gas grill so I sold it and bought the new Traeger Ironwood. My goal was to have something that I could easily turn on and get a little more flavor than I was getting with the gas grill. I am pretty happy with it so far but I have only done a few shorter cooks. I still have my OKJ Bronco and Webber Summit Kamado as well.

Nice grill and very nice cooks. Apart from the pellet grills themselves and the tremendous difference in costs between brand name pellets and not, how expensive are these grills in terms of cooking cost vs charcoal or splits? Especially for long cooks like brisket.

Congrats on your purchase! Looks like you're already making some great bbq with the Ironwood. I bought a Traeger Timberline 1300 a few months ago and have really enjoyed using it. I still have my small offset and WSMs when I want more smoke.
