I've been having troubles posting pics lately. not that I take pictures or cook like I used to but still I finally got around to figuring a way to post again.

in honor of the occasion I decided to post a random cook I did recently. leg quarters on my 007 live fire drum, this is the "best chicken you've ever had" (no really that is the name I gave it)

some of my favorite rubs are from simply marvelous. they make very unique flavors



the 007 cooks raised direct heat via a small wood fire. you've never had better skin on chicken than this. this was the first cook of the season so I did it in the front yard to put everyone in the neighborhood on notice
