CATEGORY DESCRIPTION - PLEASE READ:

We haven't had a Green Chile Throwdown since 2016 and it is Hatch Chile season!

Create a dish or food item of your choice using green chiles.

Standard Throwdown rules apply.

You may submit entries that are cooked from Friday 8/27 through Monday 9/13.


Entry pictures must be submitted by Noon Central US Time on Monday 9/13.

Does 'green chile' refer to any of the varieties, for example Anaheim, poblano, jalapeno, chilaca (although they are usually dried) and serrano?

That said, it's a good question and I was wondering the same thing...my guess is that Andy would be fine with all of the above.
