Saw on my local FB Marketplace a reasonably priced Dyna glo vertical offset and was looking for some reviews.

I know its a cheep offset with thin metal that needs sealing. I currently have a UDS that works great as my go to smoker, but the smoke on it just isn't the same as a live fire offset. I've had a Chargriller in the past that eventually rusted out, replaced it with a WSM and now use UDS. So I'm familiar with the expected babysitting that would be required.

As I'm getting bored and looking for something different the Dyna glo caught my attention if I an get the price right.

Is the firebox big enough with enough airflow to maintain a small fire, or am I just going to end up with a charcoal basket with wood chunks? Do fan setups work on offsets? I've got a PartyQ and BBQ IQ110.

How big are the racks, can I fit a full rack of ribs on it?

Not expecting it to be a masterpiece, but is it worth under $100 in good
condition?

Thanks,

my opinion of dyna glo is as low as possible. I would sooner build a smoker from a cardboard box the dyna glo came in before I would pay money for one
