For those of you who haven't gone over and clicked on the BBQ Throwdown link, I highly recommend it. It's fun and will get you out of your comfort zone. Sometimes the result is amazing and sometimes it turns out just a little short of what you imagined. :icon_shy

Anyway, I decided to try my hand at deviled eggs on the smoker. This was definitely a first for me and it didn't go exactly how I planned, but it was a lot of fun.

Here are some pics of today's event..............

Eggs on the smoker. 350° for 25 minutes. I think 20 minutes might have been a little better.

Eggs cooled and peeled. You can see some of the grill marks on the eggs.
Some of the eggs didn't peel well and I lost some of the egg whites.

Cooked bacon. This tasted amazing!! I used some Kosmo's Dirty Bird rub.

Don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone. It was a lot of fun and I learned that I'll be making bacon on the Yoder A LOT!!!!!

Nice cook. My wife will not eat bacon anymore unless I cook it on the MAK or Yoder. I started doing that about 4 years ago and won’t cook it any other way.

I am a sucker for deviled eggs and those look pretty darn good. Have also been thinking about what to do for a throwdown

They look good, must try that, not disimiliar to curried eggs by the looks
