Still looking for that one "slaw" that was served at Seafood Galley back around 1980. Perhaps it was Curtido.

So what was so unique about it ?

It was a clear slaw,perhaps relish?? savory with a hint of sweet. Shredded carrots and believe celery seed and coarse Black pepper. You know those hospital small paper pill cups ? It was self serve in those tiny cups. There were two versions. One was vinegary dill and one was vinegary sweeter. Both were chopped really small and if mayo was involved it was invisible

Not a slaw lover but I think I could enjoy this.

This coleslaw recipe has the ingredients mentioned but not chopped as fine. .... and it's not clear but sounds good...

Sounds like a Carolina vinegar slaw, just chopped fine. :noidea:
