Boring and enjoyable night

Life at the beach has it's ups and downs. A down is Labor Day weekend. And lots of other stuff. The tourists will be flocking like crazy as usual. Anyway, my boy and I decided to lay back and enjoy the quiet with a simple dinner. Remember those times....

Hot dogs are absolutely one of my favorite things, and I do put ketchup on mine. There, I said it! Good luck with the crowds, have an extra beer or two to maintain your sanity, and there's always football on this weekend in case you want to lock the doors and keep the madness at bay.

Yup, it's ketchup.

I noticed in that really cool 50's cookbooks collection that was shared a few weeks ago that many recipes say to cook dogs in BBQ sauce. May have to try that once.
