Yes BBQ. I do drive to BBQ... guilty as charged.
During my time here on the boards realized something... the people I have met, cookers and eaters of BBQ, are at a level of passion exactly opposite of the microwave mentality ... and that's worth cultivating.
Being a "BBQ Servant" has a greater depth of satisfaction, reaching more people, meeting their needs, than just six judges in a styrofoam box.
BBQ has filled a missing part of my life... something i heard at Dayton during the PGBBQ event was the tagline... about 'serving your best'... and that stays with me every time I throw on meat.
