🚨Christmas in July 🚨

5 NIB Thermometers in cabinet. Currently in use a Thermopop and a non transmission DOT. Sometimes more useful as a probe for tenderness. Usually if used it's the 4th Quarter of the cook.

However 4ever3 did make me look.

Dang it

Still finding my way through the cooking/smoking world without a thermoworks product. If I buy one now, I might be struck by lightening.

You have the experience to be able to judge when something is cooked properly. Some of us don't, and we rely on science.

Home brewing/wine making requires having a hydrometer, else you're just guessing when fermentation is complete. An instant read thermometer takes some of the guesswork out of the grilling process. However, not having these things doesn't mean you won't be successful.

Therma pen is temping, but I had a javelin and didn't like dealing with the folding. Got an orange pop to replace my aging rt600c. Membrane is broken on the buttons.
