What basic beginner equipment do I need to start dabbling with snack sticks? Tired of paying $19.99/lb at the local butcher!
I'd like to start with a cheap(ish) setup to see if I enjoy doing this before diving in head over heels into a spendy setup.

So this weekend I trie making Spicy Chicken Jerky.
I was really surpriced how good it tasted. We had great weather this weekend and the combination of white beer and Spicy Chicken Jerky was perfect.
