supposedly they were going to list scores electronically, haven't seen them yet though....really interested. And yes, very probably the last time I build in the lid....

Not sure, but I think if they are going to do that again (reduce the print output handed out) it needs to consist of our raw scores (as it does) AND how we placed in each category... I can see wanting to reduce the paper, but at least make the ONE page they provide have more than just our raw scores... Lots of whitespace that could provide some additional useful info... Just my $0.02.
Thanks to LindaM for posting the NEBS full data (above, PDF format) hoping to see the KCBS full data soon? Also - if there's a place to find this info on the KCBS site, I sure can't find it - I could use enlightenment.

I'm all for being green but, 250ish sheets of paper are such a small drop in the bucket compared to the output of the entire festival. How many of the giant ribfest brochures did they print? Every one is just going to print them out today anyway. Just my .02.

P.S. I printed my NEBS sheets double sided reducing my impact by %50!!!

You aren't missing anything. Under Events on the KCBS site they post scores from contests... however this is the only one that does not have "results in" for this past weekend, which is interesting.

I'd rather have scoresheets then be given free trashbags all weekend... I can't bit// and moan about how trashbags scored in taste on the ride home.

What about using recycled paper? What if you brought your own? I am all for going green but to do something like this the scores should be then automatically sent to the teams the day of. If they are really concerned about it more effort should be focused on recycling aluminum from teams etc.

Thats exactly what I was thinking, something with real impact. The organizers might not understand the value in those sheets. Our entire weekend boiled down to a few numbers on a sheet of paper, and then make us wait:shock:.

For once I must say, I agree with sledneck!

I would be willing to bet that they give us our sheets next year after the outcry.....

It was a small blip on what was really a great event again this year. Congrats to Chris and Phil!

What the hell are you guys talking about? I have a copy of the full results. They taped them to the wall instead of handing them out...didn't you guys grab one? :p

Had a BLAST hanging out with everyone. Congrats to Chris and Phil!!! Way to go guys!

I snapped a pic of the top twenty overall.

Will somebody think of the bytes that we are abusing by having to post results on websites? We need to save the internets! Please reduce our consumption of disk space by printing and distributing results rather than taking up valuable memory card space...

Thanks everyone. I was standing next to Phil when he got called for RGC... he was surprised! Great to cook next to Transformer and Q-Less. Lack of sleep and bourbon caught up on us during our break-down and sorry to Bernie for dumping about 5-gallons of grease water into his site.

Full KCBS results

Here you go guys. Just walked in the door and got them out as soon as I could.

Linda
